As noted, WWE announced on Thursday that they have suspended Eva Marie for 30 days as a result of her violating the company’s Wellness Policy. Because of rumors regarding how long WWE knew about Roman Reigns’ recent violation of the same policy before going public and starting his suspension, there have been questions as to how long the company knows about these issues in advance.

According to Raj Giri of WrestlingINC, WWE first discovered the fact that Marie violated the Wellness Policy on Wednesday. It was rumored when Roman Reigns violated the same policy earlier this year, that WWE sat on the information before going public with it, seemingly to get everything in order — from the storylines he was tied into to the live events and TV shows he was advertised for — before being forced to start his mandatory 30-day suspension.

Apparently they didn’t do the same thing with Eva Marie, who was scheduled to compete in a six-woman tag-team match at this Sunday’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view. As of this writing, WWE has still yet to announce anything regarding changes to the match.

Eva Marie was the third talent WWE announced as having violated their Wellness Policy, as both Alberto Del Rio and Paige have also been hit with 30-day mandatory suspensions for their first offense of the same policy.
