As reported earlier today by Pro Wrestling Sheet, WWE producer and former cruiserweight champion James “Jamie Noble” Gibson was stabbed multiple times following a road rage incident near his home in West Virginia.
According to sources, Noble is said to have cut off another motorist on the highway. The other motorist, along with two passengers, followed Noble to his home at the Shawdowood Mobile Park in Mercer County. Police say they stabbed him twice – once in the upper back and once in the mid-back near his spine. The suspects fled from the scene as neighbors phoned for police and paramedics. Noble was taken to the local hospital, where he remains. According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, the WWE is aware of the situation and remains in contact with Mercer County Sheriff’s Department.
