Paige is undergoing neck surgery today. Last week, her fiance Alberto El Patron tweeted a screenshot of a text message, presumably from a doctor detailing the extent of her injury. The message indicated Paige was experiencing pain in her neck and her extremities due to “a disc herniation at C6/7 pushing on the exit of the C7 nerve root.” The issue of whether or not Paige required neck surgery (and who would pay for the procedure) has been a source of contention between her and WWE. Paige tweeted the following photo on Wednesday afternoon:

Speaking of Paige and Alberto El Patron, the E! Network congratulated them on their engagement and revealed their romance will be featured on the upcoming season of Total Divas: “Total Divas fans will have the opportunity to watch Paige and Alberto’s romance blossom on the show’s upcoming sixth season this fall! Congrats to the lovebirds!” With WWE reportedly not approving of their relationship, Alberto leaving the company and Paige’s recent troubles – it will be interesting to see how their relationship is portrayed on the show.
