Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar has been officially announced for WWE Survivor Series. It will be Goldberg’s first match since WrestleMania XX back in 2004 when he defeated Brock Lesnar in front of a rowdy crowd at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The stage was set for this dream match when it was revealed earlier this year that Goldberg is the pre-order bonus character for the WWE 2K17 video game, which features Lesnar on the cover. During a recent ESPN SportsCenter appearance, Goldberg expressed interest in a potential comeback match against Lesnar. Paul Heyman issued the challenge on behalf of his client and Goldberg accepted last week.
