Coming off his 86-second win over Brock Lesnar at WWE Survivor Series, Goldberg appeared on last night’s RAW from Toronto and confirmed that he will be in the 30-man Royal Rumble main event in January 2017.
Goldberg first teased that all good things must come to an end, but something funny happened when he was walking to the back after defeating Goldberg. Stephanie said Goldberg had one more jackhammer, one more spear, one more ass kicking left in him. But does he have one more title run left in him? Goldberg said you bet your ass he has one more title run in him and at the Royal Rumble, “Everyone is next!”
The winner of the Royal Rumble earns a title shot of their respective brand in the main event of WrestleMania 33, so Goldberg could theoretically be the WWE Universal Champion come April.
The 2017 Rumble takes place on 1/29 from The Alamodome in San Antonio, TX.
