It looks like indie wrestling content is heading to the WWE Network. According to a report by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Vince McMahon is on the verge of deciding to add several “hot” indies to his network. There’s no word on when Vince is expected to officially make the call, but Meltzer expects that we’ll see some big changes on the WWE Network in the next few months.
WWE sent out some Fan Council surveys this year to gauge interest in indie wrestling on the WWE Network. The surveys specifically mentioned, Ring of Honor, EVOLVE, CZW. OVW, PWG, DGUSA and several others. One survey listed TNA.
One survey from this fall listed potential Network price points of $4.99, $9.99 and $14.99.
