Shinsuke Nakamura is your new NXT Champion after defeating Samoa Joe Sunday’s NXT live event from Osaka, Japan. Nakamura is now a 2-time NXT Champion. Moments after the victory, Nakamura spoke about the significance of winning the title back in Japan.

Triple H congratulated Nakamura and announced the match will air this coming Wednesday on NXT’s weekly show on the WWE Network.
As for what this means for Samoa Joe’s time future in NXT, it’s safe to assume he’ll be moving on to new challenges elsewhere sooner than later.
