WWE World Champion AJ Styles’ ankle injury was acknowledged on Tuesday’s SmackDown Live. As noted, Styles was injured during his main event TLC title defense against Dean Ambrose.
Styles came out on SmackDown wearing a walking boot and announced that he is not cleared to compete against his scheduled main event against James Ellsworth. Styles said he has to wear the boot for at least one week.
