WWE held a press conference on Thursday morning to announce it will crown the first-ever WWE United Kingdom Champion live on WWE Network.
The 16-man tournament will air during a special, two-night tournament on Saturday, January 14 and Sunday, January 15, 2017. Participants include Progress Champion Pete Dunne, ICW Champion Wolfgang, Joseph Conners, Roy Johnson, Jordan Devlin, Tyson T-Bone, Tucker, HC Dyer, Tyler Bate, Trent Seven, Chris Tyler, Dan Moloney, Jack Starz, James Drake, Sam Gradwell, Ringo Ryan, Saxon Huxley and Tiger Ali (two will serve as alternates).
Michael Cole and Nigel McGuiness will host the tournament, which will take place from Blackpool, England.
