On Tuesday, Zack Ryder provided an update on his health after undergoing surgery last week to repair his patellar tendon. Ryder was injured during the closing moments of the tag team #1 contender’s battle royal last week on SmackDown live.
The Hype Bro noted earlier this week that two doctors had given him estimated return timeframes of 4-6 months and 6-9 months, so it’s unlikely that he’ll be back in time for WrestleMania. In light of the setback, Ryder vows, “I will be back!”
