Several performers have been released from NXT, including Josh Brel, Chris Atkins and Andrea DiMarco.
Josh Bredl won Tough Enough back in 2015 and had been working as Bronson Matthews in NXT. He has been dealing with concussion issues and has not wrestled since August of last year.
Chris Atkins signed with WWE back in 2015 but had minimal exposure on NXT TV. He worked with Oney Lorcan at a live event earlier this month and also competed at WrestleMania Axxess in Orlando. We first learned of his departure via Pro Wrestling Sheet.
Andrea DiMarco had been working as a backstage interviewer. She has already updated her Twitter account to reflect her birth name (Andrea Ocampo) and has removed references to WWE & NXT.
