Huge News On Jim Ross' Contract Expiring - NOT Expected To Resign!
As we've reported here before, Jim Ross’ contract is up at the end of the month. The word we’re getting is that neither side is interested in signing a new contract.
This doesn’t mean Ross is leaving, only that he’ll be working on a week-to-week basis until they decide to humiliate and attempt to replace him again.
We’re told that Ross hasn’t forgotten the last time they embarrassed and fired him this past October, and that he’s taking every Monday as it comes. Ross has recently spent a lot of time and money launching his "JR’s Barbecue" project for when the day comes that WWE finishes up with him for good.
It is believed that Vince McMahon still wants to replace him for the same reasons he always has (Ross is “too old”, “doesn’t have the right look”, is “too Southern”, etc.), but also realizes that there isn’t anyone out there who can replace him right now."
