This summer, WWE presents the annual Summerslam Heatwave Tour in the lead-up to SummerSlam, which takes place on Sunday, August 20th from Brooklyn, New York.
One of the stops on the Heatwave Tour is on June 26th in Bakersfield, California. The Rabobank arena website has announced several matches for that show, which provides a look at who SmackDown’s top stars will be feuding with.
WWE Champion Randy Orton is scheduled to defend against Jinder Mahal with the Singh Brothers, so WWE Backlash later this month is not a one-shot deal for Jinder working main events.
United States champion Kevin Owens will defend against Shinsuke Nakamura. Owens is currently feuding with AJ Styles, but an Owens-Nakamura feud is something to look forward to this summer.
Sami Zayn and Baron Corbin is on the card, as well as a SmackDown tag team championship triple threat match involving New Day, The Uso’s and Breezango.
