View Full Version : Post-Backlash SmackDown Viewership Bounces Back From Last Week’s Year-Low

This week’s WWE SmackDown episode bounced back from last week’s 2017 low with the fallout from Sunday’s Backlash pay-per-view. Last night’s show drew 2.328 million viewers, up from last week’s 2.175 million viewers for the Backlash go-home episode.

SmackDown featured Backlash fallout including new WWE Champion Jinder Mahal. The main event saw Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles defeat Kevin Owens and Dolph Ziggler.

SmackDown was #8 in viewership and #3 in the 18-49 demographic this week. The NBA continues to top the charts during playoff season.

By comparison, this week’s RAW averaged 2.615 million viewers.
