There’s a reason the WWE avidly promotes ‘Don’t Try This At Home’ ladies and gentleman. FOX 2 is reporting that a couple was arrested for the death of 2-year-old Addie Cook after the child had wrestling moves, which included a ‘Batista Bomb’ performed on her. The girl’s mother, who is 19 years of age, Cheyenne Cook and her boyfriend Richard Gamache Jr. (24-years-old) were arrested for the murder of young Addie, who showed prior signs of abuse in addition to digital evidence.

The couple reportedly tried to cover up the digital evidence that was found, and it was revealed that Gamache had repeatedly abused the child while Cook stood by and did nothing. Gamache is being held on a $500,000 cash-only bond and is charged with abuse of neglect of a child, while Cook is on a $2,500 cash-only bond under charges of endangering the welfare of a child.

The WWE had this to say about the ordeal:

“We are deeply saddened by this tragic death and hope that the guilty parties are brought to justice,” the company stated. “There is no excuse or justification for the brutal and ultimately fatal beating of a 2-year-old child by a grown man. This is a clear case of criminal intent and a lack of parental supervision.”
