The Usos and New Day are scheduled for a rap battle against one another this week on Smackdown. Just to make sure the contest is moderated by a qualified judge, WWE is bringing in long-time wrestling fan, and international recording-artist, Wale.
Wale announced the news through social media last night:
Vince gave me the co-sign .Jayz dropped that inspiration .things are going great .catch me on smackdown live @WWEUsos @WWEBigE keep it clean

For the last 3 years, Wale has been holding an event over WrestleMania weekend, aptly dubbed “WaleMania”. The event often involves a live Q&A podcast with several wrestling personalities, and the hosts of MLW Radio. The featured performance of the night however, is a performance from Wale himself.
In 2013, Wale’s hit “Lotus Flower Bomb” was nominated for a Grammy. In 2015, his video for “White Shoes” was nominated for Best Video With a Social Message by MTV. His track “Bad” was given the award for “Best Hip Hop Song of the Year” at the 2013 Soul Train Awards.
