WWE has announced 4 segments for tonight’s Smackdown. The show comes from the Talking Stick Arena, in Phoenix Arizona.
The most promoted segment of the evening, is John Cena’s return to WWE programming. Cena hasn’t been on WWE programming since WrestleMania.
In addition to John Cena’s return, 3 other segments have been confirmed for tonight:
The Usos and New Day will have a “Rap Battle”. Award-winning recording artist, Wale, is being brought in to moderate and judge the contest.
Lana will once again challenge Naomi for the Smackdown women’s championship. In the week since their last match, Lana has been able to successfully petition WWE that should should receive another rematch on the basis of her shoulder being up last week, yet her still being counted down for 3. Carmella may be interested in this match as well.
An “Independence Day” battle royal will be held, the winner moving on to challenge Kevin Owens at Battleground later this month. AJ Styles is particularly interested in winning this match.
