Randy Orton is steadily approaching his Punjabi Prison match for the WWE Championship against current title holder Jinder Mahal at the WWE Battleground pay-per-view later this month (Sun. July 23, 2017), but he won’t be around much for the build-up as he is set to take some time off.
Per a report from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Orton will not be appearing on WWE TV until the Battleground go-home SmackDown Live show on Tuesday, July 18th. “The Viper” is reportedly co-starring in the movie Changeland alongside former Monday Night RAW guest host Seth Green and Breckin Meyer.
