The WWE continues to push the WWE Network around the world as they held its United Kingdom Championship Tournament earlier this year where they crowned their first champion in Tyler Bate. Bate went on to lose the title to Pete Dunne at NXT TakeOver: Chicago this past May.
Per a report from Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Bate along with various other names that were involved in the tournament such as Trent Seven, Wolfgang, Pete Dunne and Mark Andrews will be brought to the United States in the next few weeks by WWE. While it remains unclear what their role will be once brought overseas, it is rumored that they will be a part of NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III event or thee post-SummerSlam weekend tapings.
Plans were for the WWE Network’s U.K. show to begin taping in June, however, nothing has been heard since then and the show is now on hold.
