In less than 4 weeks, WWE’s RAW brand presents No Mercy live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Last week on RAW, WWE confirmed the blockbuster main event that will see Brock Lesnar defend the Universal Championship against Bruan Strowman in their first singles match.
WWE has another big match planned for the show that’s sure to make this a must-see event, if it wasn’t already based on Lesnar vs. Strowman. According to PWInsider, John Cena’s opponent at the pay-per-view will be none other than Roman Reigns.
Cena and Reigns had a buzz-worthy confrontation last week and teamed up later in the show to defeat The Miz and Samoa Joe in the main event. WWE.com’s preview for tonight’s RAW questions if the two men can co-exist. Based on the news of their upcoming match, don’t count on it.
Cena vs. Reigns is a WrestleMania-caliber attraction that seems to corroborate reports that WWE has something else in mind for Reigns next April.
