LATEST IN CAPTAIN CHARISMA BATTLE WITH WWE
According to the USPTO website, a "notice of default" has been entered against William Jason Reso (Christian Cage), since he never responded to WWE's claims before the due date (Sept 19th) nor did he file for time extension. He has thirty days from when the notice was mailed out (Oct 6th) to give a reason why the notice should not be entered.
Of course, this legal back and forth is over the rights to the name "Captain Charisma". Because the name was created while Christian was working for WWE, it becomes the intellectual property of WWE according to the terms of the contract Christian had with the company.
