The Twitter rivalry between Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho has been heating up for weeks, and now we know why it all started.
After Kenny Omega’s title defense versus Trent Baretta at NJPW’s Power Struggle event earlier today in Japan, a vignette came on the video screen with Y2J challenging Omega for a match at the January 4 event Wrestle Kingdom 12 at the Tokyo Dome, by saying he’s the true best wrestler in the world.
Omega accepted.
Jericho was seeming to tease a match between he and Omega on his upcoming cruise in October 2018, but now the match is happening much sooner.
