Ex-UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has long been rumored to be making the career switch over to professional wrestling, and it looks like her in-ring debut could come as soon as WrestleMania 34. Rumors have been running rampant regarding who Rousey will face in her debut match, with a Four Horsewomen of MMA vs. the Four Horsewomen of WWE match leading the charge.

Wrestling Observer Newsletter’s Dave Meltzer confirmed these reports by claiming the Four Horsewomen vs. Four Horsewomen is confirmed for “The Show Of Shows.” Early rumors had the match happening later this month at Survivor Series, however, those plans were pushed back to allow the four mixed martial arts fighters to extend their in-ring training. Another argument that was made indicated that Rousey’s in-ring debut will bring a ton of publicity, so it makes sense to do it on as big a platform as WrestleMania.
If all goes well after the match, WWE will then begin to build towards a singles feud with Rousey – most likely against either Stephanie McMahon or Charlotte Flair.
