It seems that the possibility of seeing the “Broken Universe” come to the WWE is not yet dead. PWInsider is reporting that the “Broken Matt” trademark is being posted for opposition on December 19th. This means that if any parties want to challenge this then they have 30 days to do so, or else Matt Hardy will be given ownership and has the right to use it inside or outside of WWE.
For the past several months Hardy and IMPACT Wrestling have had a fierce legal battle for the gimmick, which cause Matt to at one point offer up $10 – $15k for the gimmick. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more.
