On Sunday morning, the Pontiac Silverdome stadium in Pontiac, Michigan was scheduled to be demolished via explosives. As seen in the video below, the venue withstood the planned implosion and remains standing.

The Pontiac Silverdome played host to WrestleMania III back in 1987, one of the most iconic events in pro wrestling history.

A representative from Adamo, the demolition company, said 8 charges became disconnected and didn’t go off.

Local officials told Detroit’s WXYZ news, “We just have to wait and let gravity do its job. It’s going to collapse, we just don’t know when.”

The #PontiacSilverdome was supposed to go down at 8:30. It's been 15 minutes since that first blast and….it's still standing. We don't know what's going on. https://t.co/MsU4QEX4p2 pic.twitter.com/lQ8cICVuPB
