SmackDown Live Superstar Jey Uso was arrested on Sunday night in Hidalgo, Texas. He had competed at a WWE live event at the State Farm Arena in Hidalgo earlier in the evening.
Jey Uso (real name Joshua Fatu) was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and was released after posting a $500 bond.
A DWI charge in Texas comes when a suspect registers a blood alcohol content (BAC) of 0.08 percent or greater.
WWE’s talent wellness policy states that performers should not consume alcohol within 12 hours of an event. There is no official policy regarding alcohol consumption after shows or alcohol-related arrests, so it remains to be seen if any disciplinary measure are taken.
Jey and brother Jimmy are the reigning SmackDown tag team champions, their 5th title reign in WWE.
