E!’s Total Divas recently wrapped up its seventh season this past January. The show has been in production since 2013 and has been airing for the past five years.
In the past several seasons we have seen Divas come and go from the show, with new stars being added recently such as Carmella, Alexa Bliss, and Nia Jax. Wrestling Observer Newsletter’s Dave Meltzer reports that both Paige and Sonya Deville are cast for next season.
Liv Morgan of SmackDown Live could also be added to the show as she was recently filming an episode with Lana during WrestleMania 34 weekend. Deville is one-half of the Absolution tag team on RAW, alongside Mandy Rose – who is also showcased on Total Divas.
Deville is one of the first openly gay female athletes on WWE’s roster. As for Morgan, she is one-third of The Riott Squad on SmackDown Live alongside Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan. It should be interesting to see how these young main roster call-ups interact with veterans backstage.
