RAW Superstar Kevin Owens recently signed a new 5-year deal with WWE that will keep him with the company through 2023.
During an interview with Canada’s TVA Sports, Kevin Owens told Pat Laprade (translated):
“Hopefully I do not see why I will not finish my career with WWE. I just recently signed a new five-year contract with them. I do not intend to go anywhere my contract will end. If the WWE wants to continue, if I want to continue and my family is ready for me to continue, I do not see why it would not happen.”
Now in the 18th year of his professional wrestling career, the married father of two says he’d be very proud of what he’s accomplished in the ring.
“If it ends tomorrow, I would be very satisfied with the career I had as a professional wrestler.”
Owens would have good reason to satisfied with his accolades, as he’s held many championships throughout his career. Prior to joining WWE, he held the Ring of Honor World Championship and the the PWG Championship three times. He signed with WWE in 2014 and went on to have a lengthy reign as NXT Champion. Since joining the main roster in May 2015, Owens has held the WWE Universal Championship, the Intercontinental championship twice and the United States title three times.
