– It’s been well documented that Randy Orton underwent minor knee surgery last month. Orton was last seen on WWE programming at the Backlash pay-per-view event when he was defeated by Jeff Hardy in a United States Title match that aired on the WWE Network.
In regards to when he could return to in-ring action, the timeline is three months and that he would be back inside of the squared circle under the WWE banner before SummerSlam.
Orton is currently recovering from knee surgery and has been seen in Birmingham, Alabama where he’s likely doing rehab.
– The expectation was that WWE NXT General Manager William Regal was set to work Thursday’s NXT TV tapings in Winter Park, Florida at Full Sail University. However, he did not appear.
According to a report by PWinsider, the decision was made on Wednesday not to bring him in. It’s been noted that the reason he has not been used on TV since April is due to a personal situation.
