WWE Hall of Famer Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat went through hip surgery on Monday in North Carolina. He posted a picture on his Twitter account after his successful surgery, stating, “Got up and walked down the hall about 4 hours after surgery with zero pain. Thx for all the love and prayers sent my way….prayer works!”

Steamboat has been a one-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion and has had an illustrious career in the WWE and WCW. He has been a WWE Intercontinental Champion and eight-time WCW World Tag Team Champion. He was inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009.
