WWE has provided an injury update on Ruby Riott.
The sports entertainment company announced earlier this week that Riott suffered a knee injury while working a WWE live event over the weekend.
She last competed in a WWE ring back on June 29 in Rapid City, North Dakota at a live event when she worked with Dana Brooke.
WWE.com did note that she was scheduled for an MRI on July 2nd. Moving along to Tuesday, the promotion announced through their official website that the results from the MRI came back and showed that she suffered an MCL sprain.
This is good news for Riott as she won’t be out of action for an extended amount of time.
