This week’s episode of WWE SmackDown Live will open with star power.
Team Hell No (Daniel Bryan and Kane) will be speaking with The Miz on Miz TV in the opening segment of the Extreme Rules go-home show for the blue brand.
Bryan and Kane will be talking about their next match during this segment that will see the recently reunited team challenge Luke Harper and Erick Rowan for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles at the upcoming Extreme Rules pay-per-view event this Sunday night in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the PPG Paints Arena that will air on the WWE Network.
As noted, The Miz is slated to miss Extreme Rules due to him participating in the MLB All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball game that day at Nationals Park in Washington, DC.
WWE has also announced two other matches for this show in Omaha, NE at the CenturyLink Center Omaha that includes WWE Champion AJ Styles facing Shinsuke Nakamura in a non-title match as well as Asuka vs. James Ellsworth in a lumberjack match, which is a rematch from last week’s SmackDown Live that ended in a double count out.
Asuka will challenge Carmella for the SmackDown Live Women’s Title at Extreme Rules.
