Last night during Monday Night Raw, an October 21st, 2018 live event from Boston was advertised to the live crowd. The event was listed as a “WWE Super-Show” but was previously advertsied to have been the date for the 2018 TLC pay-per-view event.
A fan who attended Raw live last night sent out the following:
@WWE So, October 21st, is it #TLC or WWE Live Super Show?

WWE sent out a press release earlier this year indicating that all PPVs would now feature stars from both Raw and Smackdown. The announcement of a return to all dual-branded pay-per-views also included WWE releasing their 2018 PPV schedule. October 21st in Boston is listed as the TLC pay-per-view.
“WWE Extreme Rules – July 15, 2018
SummerSlam – Aug. 19, 2018
WWE Hell in a Cell – Sept. 16, 2018
WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs – Oct. 21, 2018
Survivor Series – Nov. 18, 2018
WWE Clash of Champions – Dec. 16, 2018″
A possible reason for WWE moving away from running a PPV in Boston on October 21st is that they are now running a mega-show in Australia on October 6th, 2018. The two events being scheduled so close to each other may have led WWE to decide to switch the October 21st event in Boston to a regular house show instead of a pay-per-view.
It’s possible WWE did not want to have two significant events scheduled only 15 days apart. Triple H and others in WWE spoke publicly about how holding the Greatest Royal Rumble just weeks after WrestleMania was logistically and creatively challenging.
There have been 9 WWE TLC pay-per-views in history. At last year’s event from Minnesota, Kurt Angle joined Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins in the Shield to take on the Miz, the Bar, Braun Strowman, and Kane in a 5-on-3 handicap match.
