A lot of people including Stone Cold Steve Austin were not happy with Kevin Owens getting squashed at SummerSlam but it appears that Owens himself is comfortable with his current position in the company.
Kevin recently had an interview with Guerrilla Position where he talked about his favorite SummerSlam memories, his first SummerSlam match and more.
While talking about the independent circuit, Owens discussed the MSG show of ROH and NJPW selling out and implied that the show being held in the WrestleMania weekend helped in the ticket sales.
Continuing on the topic, the former Universal Champion talked about missing the indie circuit but said that he was tired of being there and WWE snatched him up at the perfect time.
He then went on to claim that he never wants to go back to the indie circuit and revealed that he has recently signed a new contract with WWE.
Although Kevin did not provide much detail about his new contract, the former Champion’s words make it clear that he won’t be leaving WWE anytime soon.
