Jessamyn Duke is now the final member of the Four Horsewomen of MMA to make their pro wrestling debuts. At a live event presented by WWE NXT on Saturday night in Largo, FL at the Minnreg Hall, Duke made her in-ring debut for the company by teaming up with Four Horsewomen members Shayna Baszler & Marina Shafir to defeat Kairi Sane, Io Shirai & Deonna Purrazzo in the main event.
The finish of the match saw Baszler tap out Purrazzo while Duke and Shafir prevented the submission from being broken up. This past May, the company announced that they had signed Duke and Shafir where they would later start training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
Moving along to last month, Shafir had her first match at an NXT house show. Duke was supposed to wrestle last month as well but plans changed.
With all four of MMA’s Four Horsewomen now active on the WWE and NXT rosters, the prospect of a showdown with WWE’s Four Horsewomen (Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks and Bayley) is realer than ever.
