While Finn Balor was pulled from some recent WWE Shows due to an unspecified illness, his TLC match with Drew McIntyre is still on and so far there is no news of him being pulled from the event.
During his recent appearance on Not Sam Wrestling podcast, the former Universal Champion talked about his TLC opponent and explained why he has the ultimate respect for him.
Balor first discussed how he has never crossed paths with McIntyre and how despite being in the same place at the same time in indies he has never wrestled the Chosen One.
Later he gave credit to Drew for going through what he went through in WWE at an early age and then refocus and regroup to come back as a completely new Drew McIntyre.
Finally, he said that he has the ultimate respect for the former NXT Champion for how he has handled his career and he has definitely proved a lot of people wrong in doing that.
Apart from this Finn Balor also talked about how Jinder Mahal is another example of the same and if guys can get refocused then there is always a way back.
As noted, Finn Balor is still scheduled to face Drew McIntyre at the upcoming TLC PPV.
