WWE held a post-Christmas live event on Wednesday night in New York, NY at the Madison Square Garden. These are always special shows as it’s considered a bigger house show due to the history of the arena and the decades that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon has called it home.
This show featured some big matches including WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey retaining the title over Nia Jax in the main event, WWE Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose defeating Seth Rollins in a steel cage, and appearances by McMahon and John Cena.
