WWE Smackdown tag team champions, the Bar, will take on the Usos Tuesday night on Smackdown. Should Jimmy and Jey defeat Cesaro and Sheamus, they will have earned a title match against the champions at a later date.
In a high-stakes match, Jimmy & Jey will face off against Sheamus & Cesaroand, a WWE press release for the match reads. if The Usos can prevail, they will receive a future SmackDown Tag Team Title opportunity.
Smackdown will take place in the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena this Tuesday from Jacksonville, Florida.
The last time the Bar defended the Smackdown tag team championships, they won a triple threat match at TLC. The other teams involved in the match were New Day and the Usos.
The Usos were the lone surviving team in the tag-team traditional Survivor Series match in November. Meanwhile, the Bar lost to then-Raw tag team champions, AOP, later that night. Last time out, however, the Usos went to a no-contest with Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows due to outside interference.
