Kane, better known as Glenn Jacobs, recently made an appearance on The Steve Austin Show where he talked about various topics including the comparisons between his school and the WWE Performance Center.

In late 2018 it was announced by Dr. Tom Prichard that he would be working with Kane as they plan to open a new wrestling school in Knoxville, Tennessee where Kane is the mayor of Knox County. The Jacobs-Prichard Wrestling Academy plans to hold their first class this month.

This is where the former WWE Champion talked about these comparisons, which Kane started out by stating that it will probably be some of the same stuff to some extent as he pointed out that if you are looking at a lot of these different schools, you have to consider how these folks can help them. He made it known that this school is not only about how people are going to learn but also how participating in the training sessions can help them advance. This is where he and Pritchard can do that well.

“Eventually, if anybody wants to be in WWE at some point, then getting into the Performance Center is the path to WWE.”

Kane would continue by stating that he thinks this is a first step towards getting into the WWE. He did point out that there are people who just want to get into the wrestling business and thinks one nice thing about the independent scene right now is how it has revitalized. He wants to give people the knowledge of the basics in the ring and cutting promos.

“Really, nowadays promoting yourself is just as important as anything and making a name for yourself on social media, and from there if you have people who are a little more advanced, you can polish them up and help them take that next step.”
