WWE is loading up Monday’s episode of RAW as the company has announced two big matches that will be taking place on the second episode of the red brand in the new year.
First up is Sasha Banks teaming up with RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey to take on Tamina Snuka and Nia Jax in a tag team match. Also, WWE Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose puts his title on the line when he steps into the squared circle in order to defend the title against Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley in a Triple Threat Match.
Banks is slated to challenge Rousey for the RAW Women’s Title at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event takes place on Sunday, January 27, 2019, in Phoenix, Arizona at Chase Field. WWE has already confirmed that Ambrose, Rollins, and Lashley would compete in this year’s Men’s Royal Rumble match.
WWE invades Memphis, TN at the FedExForum for this episode of Monday Night RAW. As of this writing, no other matches or segments have been announced for the show.
The company is hoping to continue the momentum after this past week’s episode that saw an increase in viewership. That episode averaged 2.324 million viewers, up from 1.968 million the previous week.
