The future of WWE Champion AJ Styles has been a hot topic since it was revealed that his contract is slated to expire in April.
It’s no secret that WWE wants to keep him under contract as he’s one of their biggest stars right now. Also, there’s competition, and in the day and age that today’s pro wrestling is in right now, WWE is looking to make sure to keep talent happy in order to have them on their roster.
There was a recent report that came out that stated the SmackDown star had signed a 3-year deal. However, that appears not to be completely accurate as Styles has since cleared up the speculation regarding him signing a new deal.
He took to his official Twitter account where he wrote the following:
What was that? Are you sure? Please let me know the more because I know nothing about this.

The belief going around is that while he is still in talks with WWE about a new deal, he’ll get offers from different companies like New Japan Pro Wrestling and All Elite Wrestling.
Although he’ll receive offers from other promotions, many believe that Styles will remain with the WWE if they can get him a lighter schedule, which is something that he has expressed interest in in the past.
