SmackDown Women’s Champion Asuka took a nasty bump at a live event Monday night in White Plains, NY at the Westchester County Center.
During a match against Mandy Rose, Asuka was dropped on her head. Fans in attendance noted on social media that the spot happened when Asuka tucked her head towards the end out of a reverse flapjack.
As a result, the match was ruled a no contest. Rose stayed in character and grabbed the title then walked to the back. In the meantime, WWE doctors checked on Asuka at ringside and then she was assisted to the backstage area.
Move was almost a reverse flapjack and Asuka tucked her head toward the end out of nowhere. Real scary. #WWEWhitePlains
