WrestleMania is approaching fast and with less than 2 weeks remaining for the event, WWE has been filling up the match card for the event very fast.

However, there are two top names who have surprisingly been left out of the build-up for the event and they are John Cena and the Undertaker.

While the Undertaker seems to be completely off the card for this year’s show, there is still hope for Cena’s appearance and WWE has apparently presented him with an offer for the same.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, WWE has presented John with an offer for a match at the Shows Of Shows and while he hasn’t signed it yet, The Cenation Leader is expected to take that deal.

Meltzer didn’t reveal who will be Cena’s opponent in this bout but he noted that despite some people’s expectations, he won’t be replacing Baron Corbin in Kurt Angle’s farewell match at the show.

A possibility is that the company has offered him a match against the United States Champion Samoa Joe who is currently scheduled to face Rey Mysterio at the event.

Joe had cut a number of promos targeting Cena a while back and it’s possible that WWE alters Samoa Joe’s match against Mysterio or adds John to it, making it a triple threat.

Though with the thing not being official just yet, it’s possible that John Cena ends up not wrestling at the show after all and we’ll have to wait for WWE to confirm his status for the event to be sure.
