PWInsider was the first to report the news. WrestlingNews.co is reporting that it’s a five-year deal with a pay raise. The contracts of the current WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions were slated to expire at the end of April.
Before the news about them inking new deals, there was some speculation that they could be headed to join AEW as the promotion has made it known that they plan to have a strong focus on tag team wrestling.
Talents who are currently under contract with AEW include Cody, Brandi Rhodes, The Young Bucks, Chris Jericho, PAC (formerly known as Neville in WWE), Britt Baker, MJF, Joey Janela, Penelope Ford, Frankie Kazarian, Christopher Daniels, Scorpio Sky, Jimmy Havoc, Sonny Kiss, Sammy Guevara, Trent Barreta, Chuck Taylor, Pentagon Jr., Fenix, Aja Kong, Yuka Sakazaki, Kylie Ray, Nyla Rose, Kenny Omega, Bea Priestley, Allie, and Michael Nakazawa.
The Usos are set to defend the SmackDown Tag Team Titles in a Fatal Four-Way match against Ricochet & Aleister Black, The Bar and Shinsuke Nakamura & Rusev at WrestleMania 35 on Sunday, April 7, 2019, in East Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium that will air on the WWE Network.
