WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry has come to the defense of WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar over his schedule with the WWE.

Since making his return in 2012, Lesnar wrestles only a handful of matches each year, and when he does, that’s the only time that he appears on television alongside Paul Heyman.

Despite being on a limited schedule, Lesnar has had several reigns as the top champion in the company. While attending a meet-and-greet at a recent Binghamton Devils of the AHL game, the WWE Hall of Famer spoke with Wrestling Inc about why it is for the best that Lesnar is around the WWE for a limited amount of time.

“Neither was Andre. Andre wasn’t around,” said Henry who compared Lesnar’s limited schedule to Andre the Giant’s back in the day. “Brock is an attraction. You have somebody that garners a special level of attention, and you need to let those people be those people.”

Henry would continue by stating that Lesnar doesn’t like people and he needs to stay away from them in order to prevent something from happening.

“Brock is a bit of a butt hole too,” stated Henry. “You don’t want him around all the time. He’s subject to hit somebody or cuss a little kid out. You need to keep him away from people. He’s a monster, and I would rather the monster only be seen when he’s gonna fight for the title.”

Lesnar makes his next title defense against Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 35.
