View Full Version : WWE SmackDown Live Viewership Suffers Big Drop From Last Year’s Post-WrestleMania Show

Tuesday’s edition of WWE SmackDown Live from Brooklyn, New York at the Barclays Center averaged 2.199 million viewers, which is up from 2.141 million the previous week, according to ShowbuzzDaily.

This was the post-WrestleMania 35 episode for the blue branded show. For comparison, the same show pulled in 2.952 viewers for the post-WrestleMania 34 episode of SmackDown last year.

The show had to go up against Curse of Oak Island on History that did 3.053 million viewers, Rachel Maddow Show with 2.580, and Tucker Carlson Tonight that drew 2.742. WWE also had to go up against an NBA game that pulled in 1.325 viewers on TNT.

Matches that took place on this show include Aleister Black, Ali & Ricochet vs. Andrade, Rusev & Shinsuke Nakamura in a six-man tag team match, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The IIconics (Billie Kay & Peyton Royce) vs. The Brooklyn Belles (Karissa & Krysten), The Hardy Boyz (Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy) defeat The Usos (Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso to win the SmackDown Tag Team Titles, and The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) vs. Drew McIntyre & The Bar (Cesaro & Sheamus) in the main event.
