Hulk Hogan took to Twitter to voice his complaints about the new Vice documentary on “Macho Man” Randy Savage and Elizabeth. According to the Hulkster, the documentary is not entirely accurate and is missing key perspectives.

Here is what Hogan said on Twitter about the film:

Just watched VICE the dark side of Macho Man 5 out of 10 ,really good but relied too much on a couple of pictures someone had and believed stories that were half truths and some that were just wrong, what a shame they didn’t check all sources HH

The documentary is part of a 6-part series by Vice titled “Dark Side of the Ring”. The first film, “the Match Made in Heaven” focusses on “Macho Man” Randy Savage and Elizabeth. Other episodes focus on the death of Bruiser Brody, the Von Erichs, the Fabulous Moolah, death of Gino Hernandez, and the Montreal Screwjob.

The Match Made In Heaven features interviews from Randy’s brother Lanny Poffo, as well as wrestling personalities Bruce Pritchard, Jimmy Hart, Scott Hall, Jake Roberts, and more. The film does not include comments from Hulk Hogan but does include an interview with Hogan’s ex-wife, Linda Bollea.

The Twitter account for the Dark Side of the Ring series responded to Hogan’s comments. They noted that they had reached out to Hogan for his inclusion in the film but he declined.

Thanks for watching. We reached out to you to participate in this but you declined. We would've love to have your POV for this story. Hope we can get you on the next one.
