The Revival has been offered big money deals by WWE in order to secure them under contract for years to come.
According to Fightful, both Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder have been offered five-year, $500,000 per year deals to stay with WWE, but haven’t accepted. F4WOnline followed up with a report stating The Revival turned down the contract offers.
The tag team was set for a meeting with the company on Monday afternoon while backstage at the RAW TV event in Lexington, KY at the Rupp Arena. It was added that it didn’t look like Revival had plans to accept the deal. Their current contracts are rumored to expire in 2020.
Back in January, it was reported that The Revival were unhappy about their position in the company and requested their releases. Shortly thereafter, they beat Bobby Roode and Chad Gable to win the WWE RAW Tag Team Championships.
After a few months with the straps, they dropped the titles to Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder at WrestleMania 35. As of late, there have been several WWE stars such as Luke Harper, Tye Dillinger, Mike Kanellis & Maria, Sasha Banks, Dean Ambrose, and Hideo Itami who have expressed their frustration with the company.
WWE has granted and also declined these stars when they asked for their releases. In the case of Ambrose, he just worked out the remainder of his deal and is now a free agent.
