During last night’s (Mon. May 13, 2019) episode of Monday Night RAW, Braun Strowman was replaced in the Men’s Money In The Bank (MITB) ladder match. Strowman was defeated by Sami Zayn, who now takes “The Monster Among Men’s” place in the bout.
During a recent edition of Dave Meltzer’s Wrestling Observer Radio, it was noted that Strowman’s arm was wrapped up during the match, sparking speculation that he could be dealing with an injury. However, Strowman isn’t injured enough not to work, as he did a 15-minute match with Zayn.
In regards to why Strowman was removed from the match, Meltzer confirmed that the move was made as part of a longer storyline that will play out over time. No further details were given as to why Strowman was removed from the match.
