Shinsuke Nakamura is going to be back in the hunt for a top title under the WWE banner.
The company is slated to make a return to Singapore for one live event at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Thursday, June 27. According to a new advertisement, Nakamura will challenge WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins at this upcoming show.
There is another match advertised as well which is Alexa Bliss vs. RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Cesaro, Braun Strowman, Samoa Joe, Drew McIntyre, Asuka and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The IIconics are set to appear.
WWE often takes full advantage of the “card subject to change” disclaimer, so it’s possible they will go in a different direction with at least one of these matches. It should be noted that Nakamura is a SmackDown star.
Rollins and Nakamura have battled it out against each other in a singles match before inside of the squared circle.
Last year at the Survivor Series pay-per-view event at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, Rollins, who was then the Intercontinental Champion and Nakamura as the United States Champion battled it out where Rollins went over.
